Just signed to by a new car.....I know its not a great time but our hands were forced due to my car being a write off.

Gone with a brand new IZUZU D Max 4 x 2 Crew Cab SX Auto. We are not planning on going off road more just wanted good towing capabilities which isn't reduced in the 4x2 and also the ute factor for moving hay etc. Was also not willing to stretch our financial means given the uncertainty of the world we live in.

We weren't fussy on colour so there is a silver one on the boat as we speak expected to be in our hands by the end of the month.

First time owner of a new car, not being a car person I didn't understand how big an investment it is but its nice to have some piece of mind when it comes to cars after years of owning second hand lotteries.

Round 20 AFL schedule just been announced, thought we would have to wait at least another week before we knew when Cats/Roos game was in Hobart, and even better it is now scheduled on the Saturday, we had all of our plans that it would be a Sunday game which would have meant a commute to Launceston that night, now we can take our time getting up there on Sunday and get prepared for Barnbougle 1st thing Monday morning

Footy, Golf, Cycling & even the Rugby.

Just cooked up a rack of lamb, intriguing bottle of Mr Riggs Three Corner Jack, and settling in to absorb the quality.

Had a good day today. Plans have come together, something I have been working on for months, years really, ever since I made the move to Melbourne has come together (I can finally afford to actually live here!). Persistence pays off..... as does be proactive, displaying leadership (in the face of the odd dickhead) and cracking on. My faith in doing the right thing, has been restore. Now to drink copius amounts of pi55 to celebrate!
