You obviously didn't see what happened to Guffers. He got cleaned up big time and was never going to play against Collingwood.

Standard Cat late out but he could hardly raise his arm when he came back on against the Suns. The ruckman Smith crashed into him and most avid Cat watchers knew a different Guthrie would be playing this week. (FFS)

Hogg Division II appears to be a battle between the 'big three' after Straycat Strut and FNQ Trotters fell back into the pack on the back of dismal defeats on the weekend. Strut's form has totally deserted them and Duromine came home with a wet sail to clean up the Catters quite easily in the end. FNQ struggled even more as they were cleaned up by Herbie who somehow is not in the top eight. Inside the eight and looking over their collective shoulders is Underbelly who failed to flatter in the first bye week to lose by 35 points to a battling Wilma.
If three spots in the top four are taken, then high Some Cant looks to be the side in best position to challenge. The Cants have been top scorers all year of course but hadn't been getting the wins. After fixing that little problem the Cants are now into the four as a few former frontrunners have dropped the ball and left the door open for them. Failed Creation in the eight and Herbs'N'Spices and also Modraaaa! outside the eight also look to be challengers so FNQ, Strut and Underbelly have to rediscover that early season form.
Big news in the relegation battle as Cossi's Carnts has fought their way out of the top eight after giving up a big head start to the rest. Cossi's victory over Frosty was a cruel one for the cellar dwellers who are more cold as ice rather than Frosty this season with a bagel in the W column as proof. Not sure how any of the bottom three can escape but I thought Cossi was gone earlier so the full story has not been written yet. Greedy Guns the team that fell through the trapdoor after their loss to Some ****.
