Just senior footy for a bit - time to focus on my career, and more importantly time with the family.. enjoy Saturdays with them. Young lad starts AUSKICK next year, girls play netball Saturdays as well.. at the moment don't have time for that.

Me too, until I had a kransky at Walkerville. That's the new leader I reckon.

Bedge you watch a lot of div4 football what’s your opinion on Raymond headland. Having a fair season considering kilburn position on the ladder. Is he top 5 player in div4?

He’s pretty handy. Athletic, agile, good vertical leap and quick recovery. I actually mentioned to Arch at 1/2 time, only way Kilburn wins is if he plays mostly forward in the 2nd half - whilst the Chics lack mid depth, him going in there ruined their potency forward and didn’t look like having an impact.

Certainly Kilburn’s most important, certainly an X factor.. but not top 5 in the Comp.

What planet are you on Bedge???

The lad is a gun player, no doubt in the top 5 players in Div 4. I think your forgetting he has been Kilburn's stand out all season, who's team have been well beaten most weeks. Unfortunately he has been played out of position and is in a poor side.

Wont be there next year!

Don't disagree he's quality, you'll get no arguments from me there.

Where is he best suited, and where are you judging him? As a forward he's behind a swag of quality key forwards, and a midfielder he's good but not sure he's the best midfielder at Kilburn**, let alone the #1 mid at each other club.

Personally think he's a better forward than mid though, in a good team that can feed him, he'd kick 3+ each week.. in a side with another dangerous key forward who can take the #1 defender then he could really get off the chain.

** he's about the only one whose played consistently, so I'm happy to admit probably wrong there.

Whats peoples thoughts on clubs sacking coaches mid year or coaches advising the club they wont be continuing the following year, is it in the clubs best interest to move on straight away or do you keep the coach for the rest of the year?

Have you tried the Kransky's at Hectorville? I agree that Walkerville's Kransky's are sensational. But so are Hectorville's. Perhaps a joint leader. And in saying that I still can't go past the Raider Burger at Houghton. That is very very delicious.

Great win today by HV. Down by 5 goals at halftime and playing pretty badly to be fair, got their noses in front at 3/4 time. With Woody South coming home with a 4-5 goal breeze, it looked like it was going to be an easy cats win. HV then kicked 3 straight into the wind to ice the game and keep their finals hopes alive and hurt woody south’s chances of staying in Div 4. Certainly didn’t turn out how I thought it would after watching the first 3 x quarters..

Bad luck to Kilburn B grade, getting closer to that first win - not far away! Hopefully they can claim a scalp before seasons end.
