Out: Graham
In: Dahms

Bit disappointed to see Graham out after playing an excellent game two rounds ago.
Our boys will give everything they've got but Norwood should be too strong... by about 22 points.

Agreed would of picked Graham over Marsh.

Marsh offers nothing around the ground

Marsh offers nothing at all.
The first player dropped is usually a tall like Graham and the last selected .
If you are under 6 foot you automatically get a game even if your reserves form is average.
No wonder we have trouble keeping key position players or recruiting them .
If the side goes in as selected we have Graham, Templeton, Thomson,Patterson and McLean all playing reserves.

Centrals actually won the 2019 game at Norwood by 3 goals. It was the most recent away win Centrals had before they beat Sturt at Unley the other week.

Durdin kicked 3 or 4 that game.

Thats right - I was there... and realised quickly the lady next to us was his Mum... So our record isnt too shabby in recent times as was my gut feel... other than the shellacking I had erased...

Final
Norwood 10.12.72
Centrals 5.12.42

Solid win but nothing to rave about. Scoreboard flattered us a bit especially after 1/4 time. Centrals seemed to dominate and control the ball for large periods but simply don’t have a forward line currently capable of kicking a winning score. Dogs would have won most of the stats including inside 50’s but 4 of their 5 goals come in 1 quarter and they looked fairly toothless up front apart from that brief period

Fair assessment. And Grace having an off day with goal kicking didnt help either. Game realistically being over at quarter time is the real disappointment for the Dogs today. Port at Elizabeth next week...hmmmm.

Take Mitch Grigg out of the game and Norwood are a fairly average side... nearly as average as us ;)
Sadly, we didn't wake up to that until we had given Mitch a five goal start.
Still, if Hosko took time out from belting opposition players to actually play for us, we may have still got across the line. As it was, with Aidan having an off day, we had no one up forward.
Cheers

Plenty of spirit your lads, probably just need a couple top tier players to match those that will develop (same as us really). Like you said, it was really only only the first 15 minutes that proved the difference.

Didn't start well for the dogs, one of their players left their boots in their car and was going to his car to retrieve them as I was walking out of the car park.

I'm not concerned what he looks like, just wish he didn't take down the score the moment the siren is heard.
