Lindsay Thomas to PHOS Camden, set to play this weekend.
I just hope Yank didn’t pay him his 2021 contract in full. I think they’re in a much better position without him.

You reap what you sow. The Tigers didn’t listen before signing him and I hear they didn’t listen when he left.damian wrote:Lindsay Thomas to PHOS Camden, set to play this weekend.

Why wouldn't they clear him if they sacked him?

Re: Great Southern Football League
Surely Yank did their due diligence when appointing him as coach??? They have done the right thing now though, appoint a local who has the club at heart, now they need to get locals back who have left the club and surely Micka will have some power in doing this because he is so well respected.
We now embark on second half of the season and what some would consider the serious part. Who will improve?? Who will slide?
My big tip is Encounter Bay to seriously improve, were rocked by injury in first half of season and with any luck they get these guys back and get their mojo back from 2020.
Willunga to slide a little, not much though. But season ending injury to Fenton and possible long term injury to Beath will hurt

He played in a trial game against reynella this year.
Was over from Melbourne and wanted to have a kick with his brothers.
If its a permanent move, great get. Can play.

Haven’t seen that sort of score in a long time.
Set shots too. Poor kicking is poor football. Prior 0-5 and J Fry 1-7

Complete opposite at Yank where Creeks kicked 26 - 2 after quarter time with 1 of those behinds rushed.
Mind you there wasn't a whole lot of pressure on the Creeks forwards at times
Meanwhile last years Grand finalists E Bay will find it hard to make the Finals now falling a game and % behind the only vulnerable team currently in the 5 , Strath , going down by 7 goals to them.

R .Kelly Myponga 1 point ???
D.Travena Myponga 1 point ???.... minus 1 on both players
17 allocated points, when it should be 15 ????
Any of you brain surgeons like to explain this one or are we just going to have different rules for different clubs
They played over their quota yesterday, surely the mafia would have been tuning up the violins if they had got over the line.....

Kelly/Trevena.... Maybe they live in the Myponga/Sellicks district?
As you say, there shouldn’t be different rules for different clubs. Compass opened that hornets nest!
By my calculations, Yank have 18 points but should have 15, Myponga have 17 but should have 15, McLaren have 11 but should have 9.
That’s excluding the EB/MC draw last year, which if included means both of them would have 2 less points also.
Pongy also had an extra 2 last year.
Only guessing, but Yank, Pongy and Mclaren probably requested and were granted more points BEFORE the season started. How McLaren were granted extra is beyond me given their last 3 years.
Now instead of deflecting how about you do some explaining and answer Damian’s question....?

R Kelly is 1 point, got reduced at the start of the year before all the mount compass fiasco
D Trevena had to -1 allocated to each club by the league after the mt compass fiasco
Myponga Sellicks have 17 points to use. Case closed.

Re: Great Southern Football League
I hate to say it, but it appears on the surface Luv a kick is correct about Ryan Kelly:
Southern Football League (SA) Port Noarlunga (3 point league)

It appears L.U.K. might have stumbled on to yet another miscarriage of the COVID rules here, as having player a 35 league games in 18 and 19, there is NO WAY he is only worth 1 point. The GSFL has done it again???
I cant understand why this league executive team believe they can reduce individual player points, and appear to have done so on multiple occasions?
The one point off any player for all clubs is an absolute joke too.
