The general consensus amongst most Bomber supporters was bottom 4 certainties and a few of the media experts said wooden spoon. I don’t think anyone could have expected the kids to have made such as a immediate impact and that it would take Rutten at least a year to remove the Worsfold stench

Like I said earlier, you guys drafted really well. Kids ready to play straight away.
Huge upside.
Rutten has to take some credit too, amazing when players are played in their correct positions.
And lol at the Saints, imagine them thinking Hind wasn’t good enough to make their side and letting him go for nothing

Port killing Freo on the inside in the clearances (12-4) then on the spread in the first quarter (uncontested disposals 86-33) and the ball use inside 50 is very good (Port going at 80%), plus it help when Dixon, Marshall and Georgiades are clunking them early. Inside 50s are even with 15 each though and Freo are shooting themselves in foot in front of goal.

Amon has bought his own footy.

Worsfold was horrid and somehow Carlton thought he was the right man to be Teague’s mentor. No surprise they have regressed

Freo with a much better quarter, winning the second 6.3 to 5.0 to sort of get themselves back into the game to be down by 31 at half time.

Frustrating and disappointing is an under statement.
Previous years we just weren’t good enough but the side we have this year should be alot better than we are showing.
