Wowee... Have South agreed to fly Dylan Barry down from Alice Springs too?

No. And to top it off Lockyear has nominated for the mid season draft.

I'm confused, has Dylan Barry been driving down from Alice Springs to play at the Panthers?

Thats fantastic news about Lockyear, I hope he gets drafted, as it will add another one to the SANFL Draftee $$ Pool!

I would’ve thought Centrals are well within their rights to make the bloke compensate them before being cleared to the country

You do due diligence, pay the money, take a chance, it's just bad luck. In my opinion not a big loss at all.

The loss isn't so much that Coff left more that we may have wasted a transfer fee that you would have hoped ended up to be used better.

You also get burnt by the fact you may have thought you had enough tall forward depth and now have lost that will little time to replace.

Wait until the mid-season farce, I mean draft!
A lot of clubs will be in far worse situations methinks.

Have to agree with Ferrett on this one, up to the Club to do their due diligence, they would not have gone for him if they did. Waste of money.

But did the Eagles actually want him on their list? I don't think they would have tried all that hard to keep him. In that case, I wasn't sure whether a transfer fee would even need to be paid.

Im not disagreeing. I agree it was poor recruitment, same can be said for Dallas Hill who is also struggling.

Dallas is a bit different, we didn't know he had an issue/injury.

Mmmmm not sure.....even I mentioned some of the issues Dallas had up here in the season just gone when we recruited him.

Not sure how much they came and watched if any but had they saw his performances etc up here im not so sure they would have been quick to recruit him.
