Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

I am jealous though.
At least your team still exists to win premiership.

Well that was enjoyable. Always enjoy an afternoon at Noarlunga. Even better when it feels like a balmy spring day and the Tigers salute.

Happy to wear the mantle of "premiership favourite" for now ... but it's a long season. Let's see if the Bays are still wearing it come September.

What’s most pleasing about today is we won the tackle count by over 20

Bitterly disappointing performance by South.
Big crowd and we let ourselves down today.
Bays definitely the best side we have come up against.
Well coached and killed us in all areas today.

South need a few changes…. Some players really ordinary today.

If we are genuine finals contenders, you need to be at least competitive…. Today we were far from it !
Is out of change.....thanks Cambridge Clarrie!!!

Still waiting for a four quarter effort.

Back to South, I can’t see Kappler and Sampson being there in 2022, either.

aM Bays you are still waiting on 4 qtr effort .No one can beat you now so with a 4 qtr effort the rest of us may as well concede the season.Impossible for the other sides to win .Hardly seen a big flag certainty

Outplayed all around the ground. The bays’ use of handball in tight was very effective, and once they broke into space were much more efficient going forward than South were. South struggled to stick a decent tackle at times.

Gibbs got a lot of it, Horne made the most of his 17 touches while Haines and Cross had some good moments, but difficult to find many winners.

Seems South “won” the inside 50 count 59-38, didn’t really feel that way watching the game.

Glenelg looked very slick and well drilled. Hope for their sake the AFL mid season draft doesn’t impact too greatly.

Very good crowd by Noarlunga standards, certainly one the biggest non-Good Friday turnouts in recent memory.

Agree with all of that saintal.

Regarding the inside 50 disparity, I made the observation to my partner during the 2nd qtr that while we were getting it in there a fair bit, it was mostly coming straight back out again. In summary, dysfunctional. Long bombs in with largely no crumbs or even the ability to hold it in. Wilkinson's absence after quarter time didn't help, Sam Overall looks out of touch, ditto Fitt. First look at Nobes, wasn't entirely disappointed, clunked a few and at least brought the ball to ground on several other occasions.

As an aside, seemed like a couple of cheap goals from right on the goal line to Glenelg in that 2nd quarter when we were briefly having the better of the game. Not sure how we failed to rush them through or if they got an arsey bounce, my view was obscured. Anyways, certainly stemmed what brief momemtum we had.

All that said, Bays too good on the day.
