I don’t think the final 5 change from here. Positions might change, but that’s about it.

Usually Kevin Curran, Trevor Prior and Nifty Miller.
Yes they are but at least they are doing it. I’m sure they’d welcome some help ;) Putting your hand up?

Nifty Miller is by far the best of the 3 and is quite knowledgeable and entertaining with his call whilst the other 2 try but struggle to keep up with whats going on.

Very ordinary commentary and they aren’t open to any help or giving it up for some new callers.

I recall a few years ago in the program that when Strathalbyn had a Home Game then Langhorne Creek would have an Away game and Vice a Versa, this seems to have changed now,

I think you'll find that scheduling also applied to Yank and Myponga games and possibly Victor Encounter Bay games.

The Fiasco continues.

Compass and their 'member of parliament' flexed his muscles and appealed the fact that Tom Dix is a 0 pointer. An appeal was heard by an "independent commission" (Bob Bache, Gordon Tonkin and one other) and what i am hearing is that they have overturned the decision and Tom Dix is down deemed a Zero point player.

The GSFL is becoming a joke! Mount Compass Football Club are losing all credibility and are making themselves the most hated club in the league.

How hard is it to just accept the points system and rules put in place and abide by them.

Tom Dix Cannot be a zero pointer, read the rules and accept the points system. Compass have breached the points on three occasions so far this season and claimed ignorance or being given permission. Three players have since had there points adjusted up ( with Dix now being appealed ) yet no penalty for any breach. This is on top of appealing for and receiving 2 extra points which they did not qualify for. F.F.S.

This has the potential to open up a serious can of worms across every league in SA if this is not properly dealt with and parties outside of the league stepping in. If there are leagues who don’t agree with the points system coming in, all you need to do is look at this example and start making up exemptions. It’s not good!

I thought the Community Footy Board have an investigation team that address these issues and make ruling above the Leagues rules.

With player points, the only scope a league has is the allocation of points each season to the clubs in their league whilst working within the permitted parameters i.e. number of clubs x 15 points = the total number of points that the league can distribute as they see fit.

Most leagues including the GSFL have established guidelines for that allocation e.g. ladder position and/or games won in the previous X or Y years. BUT - none of this changes the SACFL rules for determining the points allocation to an individual player.

Driving the Victor Harbor Road is dangerous enough without soon having to avoid the heads that may be rolling down it!!!
