It was probably the worst of all the cartoons out of all the cartoon that used to get aired during the show, most of us only watched it to see what Sophie Lee was wearing.

Re: Things that make you sad.
A man and a baby girl have died after falling over the edge of the Whispering Wall at the Barossa Reservoir.
Emergency services were called to the tourist attraction about 4.30pm on Wednesday after witnesses reported seeing the pair go over the edge and fall to the ground below.
“When patrols arrived, they found a deceased man and an infant who was unresponsive,” SA Police said in a statement.
“Paramedics worked on the infant but sadly, she died at the scene.”
Detectives and forensic crime scene investigators are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
SA Police said, at this stage, no one else is being sought over the deaths.
Police will be preparing a report for the State Coroner.

Re: Things that make you sad.
Given police would have spoken to witnesses and aren't looking for any other people involved it's reasonable to assume what has occurred here.

It's virtually impossible to fall there, we were having school excursions there in Grade 3 and even back then there were no safety concerns, we always walked across in pairs at our own leisure.Booney wrote:Given police would have spoken to witnesses and aren't looking for any other people involved it's reasonable to assume what has occurred here.

Struggling with this one today, genuinely making me feel sick in the stomach.
Have to feel for all those involved, absolute tragic circumstances and for a little one to be involved.

Re: Things that make you sad.
Ditto, shook me up last night when i read it. Looked at my young man sleeping last night cuddling up to mum on the lounge, I just couldn't fathom being able to do something that would harm or impact his health, well being and more important life.whufc wrote:Struggling with this one today, genuinely making me feel sick in the stomach..
Also had a young lady I know (not a friend of mine) whose close friends with mates of mine last night passed away during child birth, also lost the baby.
Incredibly sad, lost for words for both incidents.

I know of someone who lost his partner during the birth of their first child and the daughter survived, I get goosebumps whenever I see him or hear of his name. The Bedge wrote:Ditto, shook me up last night when i read it. Re: Things that make you sad.
Police say the tragedy at Whispering Wall last night is a suspected murder suicide.
The father, 38, had his daughter in a child carrier at the time. Members of the public were helping the 9-month-old when authorities arrived.

Re: Things that make you sad.
Just thinking of the suicide element to this and not what he did to the daughter coz that makes me angry I think the hardest part is that we cant understand because there is a fair chance we are not that 0.1% that have that 'thing' that gives us the ability to do such permanent damage to ourselves. The Bedge wrote:Ditto, shook me up last night when i read it. Most of us have all probably been in really dark places at various times and maybe even thought that ending ourselves was an option but for 99.9% of us rationale then kicks in and we can change our thought pattern. I don't think we will ever understand how that 0.1% can ultimately go through with the thoughts.
I don't know why but since I heard this ive had a bad gut feeling its going to be someone I know......just hearing its a 38 year old the same age as me has me somewhat worried even more.
I just cant get that thought of a baby that would have been so innocent to that last second, that thought they would have been attached to ultimate love.....
