Voting is only an illusion

You think that?
Along with several other Liberal party members I know and a substantial group of independent voters our voting decisions got rid of Jamie Briggs and stopped Ms Downer getting the seat of Mayo - a seat that had previously been Liberal for decades. We locals like Rebekha Sharkie.

What power group would have run that illusion/conspiracy??

In the past I've also taken part in local campaigns that got several Enfield Council members chucked out for a last minute re-zoning scam and later was on the local residents group that successfully campaigned to allow Vale Park to leave Enfield Council and join Walkerville.

From my observations both major parties do it and they should both be stopped!
Forget the Queen, and the idea of an elected President. Elect an Ombudsman to keep and eye on them all.

Why wait for someone else to do the work? Voters have the power to stop electing officials that have been exposed.

Agreed - but will they? I would!

I didn't vote for Jamie Briggs, but backed Sharkey despite being a Liberal Party member in Mayo.
(And backed her again over Ms Downer.)

But I like the idea of having an ongoing watchdog keeping an eye on them.

I voted for Ziggy Stardust because it was time for Abbott to move on for the good of the government
She's now turned all Mosman socialist to try to make her mark.
Not next time.

Yeah I thought highly of Abbott back in 2003-4, but was appalled by his approach in 2014 - and that budget.
I did, back in 2003-4, fancy the idea of Abbott and Costello running the country for a while - but with Costello in charge...

Some really disturbing information coming out at the moment.

I know it's not a government or political specific thing, but bloody hell what a shit farm at the moment.

The entire place is a cesspool
The more details come out the worse it gets. Bloody hell, the sports rorts saga was one thing with all the smoke and mirrors and ass coverings but bloody hell this really takes the cake.

So much ass covering here is not funny.

An ceasepool is a good description of that place.

Pretty obvious now that Morrison orchestrated a cover up on the eve of an election. Probably not a surprise given what we seen in recent years from this LNP government.

Morrison caught lying about Brittany Higgins' rape. There has never been a bigger scumbag PM than Morrison.

Where does that story exist? I'd suggest it only exists in your mind. I'm not a fan of Morrison, but to suggest he was a convicted paedophile in the 1980s is just bullshit.

You wouldn't be able run for your local cricket club committee with a charge like that, much less a local mp's office.

Some interesting comments on the Liberal Facebook page. I believe they have taken a few of them down but it is concerning if that's how people actually think.

I'm not sure why he has done this, he wasn't exactly bring reigned in at all. By the party.

In fact numbers aside, it probably helps ScMo as now he won't copped it for not reigning him in when he goes off on a crazy rant.

But you can never really put numbers a aside, so I guess he'll always be tied to ScMo and libs.
