Paine and Wade to both play their last test at the Gabba.
Next series:
Carey for Paine.
Head back in for Wade.

Not sure Lyon and Starc are big fans of Paine’s at the moment.

Paine has been a tremendous leader since taking over after sandpapergate, but geez, today's drop catches and the gall to sledge after costing us the game really tarnished his image.

Also, Starc was utter shit this test match.

Agree 100%
Starc needs to finish strongly in Brisbane otherwise Pattinson surely needs to be given another go.

Can’t say I was disappointed with the results given Paine’s demeanour and behaviour.

If Pattinson is fit I’d put him in for Starc at the Gabba.

Doubt Starc plays next test, looked lame.
Don’t think Pattinson is fit so maybe Neser

Is quarantine/travel bubble an issue? Would these mean only Abbott is available?

I'm f**king ropeable for the bowlers, bust their ass all day to try and set up and create chances to take wickets only to have numerous chances blown due to the drop catches. Lyon had next to no luck again today, hopefully he gets some in the forth test.

Credit to the discipline first showed by Pujara, Pant putting the pressure back on Australia where he made an Indian win look possible and then the discipline partnership of Vihari and Ashwin to blunt the Australian attack.

I'm expecting Starc to be rested for the forth test, we'll wait and see what happens with both Warner and Pucovski fitness wise and if Wade will keep his spot.

Oh yes he does

Wade was an absolute liability keeping to Lyon when he was behind the stumps a few years back.

Wade couldn't catch Covid.
In my time going back to early Marsh, he's easily the worst keeper to ever stand behind the stumps for Australia.

Pattison had a couple days granted leave from the bubble when he injured himself, but is back in it now I believe. Neser, Abbott, Henriques, Swepson, Harris are all in it hence why none of them have been seen in BBL yet.
