Thanks for applying for the cleaning job! Your credentials are perfect. Just one other thing, how many people in your immediate family that you have daily contact or live with?
Applicant: 17
COVID Medi Hotel: Perfect! Welcome aboard! And the better news, you don’t have to be tested regularly as it is below the 248 Family member cap!
You start immediately!
Applicant: Great. This was quick! I’ll have time to catch 5 buses and go swimming after I’ve been to 5 different shops before I pick my kids up from three different schools.
COVID Medi Hotel: Excellent! We are all about flexible working arrangements in these unprecedented times. High five!

I’ve stolen this for my FB

I might adapt it and post something on Marshall’s FB page

With the lessons learnt I think Marshall and Spurrier will cop a lot more and rightfully so.
They've put their balls on the line when they could have called a 2 week lockdown yesterday.
If their call was right (which you would think it would be with the info they have) then full steam ahead.
If it gets out of control they'll both be ******.

Quarantining international arrivals should've always been a Fed Govt responsibility performed at a centralized location out of densely populated cities, but it's been handballed to the States while the PM goes around Australia doing PR stunts.

Hotels are the best option, no walls in detention centres, dorm style living not good in preventing virus spread.

Now more places identified for 14-day self-quarantine and seek testing:
- Thomas More College (12-13 Nov)
- Roma Mitchell College (12-13 Nov)
- Mawson Lakes School and Preschool (11-13 Nov)
(https://www.sahealth.sa.gov.au/wps/wcm/ ... ct+tracing)

Also self quarantine and seek testing if you ordered from Woodville Pizza Bar between 6-16 Nov (takeaway or delivery).

They definitely need to do something about waiting times for getting tested - I'd hate to be a parent at one of those schools trying to wait in line with children for hours and hours.

Don’t you remember all of the lefty luvvies being outraged when the Federal Govt suggested using it for quarantining incoming foreign nationals? Christmas Island is like a beacon of pure hatred to them.

I can't see them getting another $3k bill. That would be a very Marshall government thing to do though.
Apparently thoae having to do another 14 days wont have to pay for the 2nd lot.

You would hope they are getting a payment on top for having to go through this

I have some empathy for the people going through this, but, they got told in March "If you're an Australian over seas, come home now".
