I didn't try enclosing it in a standard firecracker structure - about then my parents caught on that I had been forging my father's signature on notes authorising me to buy products from chemical suppliers for him.

Without knowing any extenuating circumstances (still hard to imagine what there could be to justify such leniency), this is f***ing BS. Not surprising though, punishments in this country always seem to put the offender ahead of the victim(s)
