We're normally perfect neighbours, no noise, beautifully upkept house, etc but I'm tempted to get my top of the range portable speaker out in the backyard this weekend, possibly just after their screaming baby goes to sleep.

The hearing range for infants is significantly larger than for adults. Have your speaker put out a pure sinusoid of 15 kHz or thereabouts. The parents will have no idea why the baby won't stay asleep

Gender reveals. What the **** is going on with these? Apparently I've got one to attend in the coming days, I'm going to carve this shit show up.

So, you know what gender they're going to identify with then they grow up then? Might be pissed at the pink balloon when you show the video at "its" 21st.

(To the Mum) You weren't there when they did the ultra sound?

You know, when it drops out you'll be able to tell then if you wanted to surprise everyone?

I never found out the sex of either of my girls, and trust i am not good at waiting for things. But i find this literally only real surprise left in life... Why ruin it?

Not saying finding out the gender is a bad thing, it can save a fair bit of time with shopping and all that... But it wasn't for me
