Bushfire appeal

Postby Booney » Mon Jan 06, 2020 3:54 pm

We've seen some pretty generous donations and fund raising efforts, makes the heart fill with pride knowing that even these fires can't kill the Aussie spirit.

Dayne Beams auctioning his premiership medal - $

Shane Warne his baggy green - $80,500 and counting

Celeste Barber fund raiser - $33m and counting
PAFC. Forever.

Ive never heard of Celeste Barber but geezus how much pull does she have to be able to raise $33 million.

That is absolutely insane, out of this world.

Well done Celeste and everyone who donated!!!

Celeste Barber appeal = $41,670,673

Kylie Minogue has joined Pink and the Kidman/Urban clan with a $500k donation - Chris Hemsworth with $1mil, and James Packer $5mil.

Shame that it takes such tragedies to show the Aussie spirit in the best light, but geez we're good at banding together when needed. Maybe Celeste can start a political party next, shouldn't be hard to be more popular than all the other useless C***'s.

Need to add the american sex worker to the list.
She posted that anyone who sent proof of donations to the aussies would receive a nude in return for every $10 they donated.
She had raised over $700k US before Instagram shut her down for selling porn.

Paul Ramsay - I had to google him when I saw it, well played to all of them, amazing that some people criticise the amounts some have donated
