Poor blokes, could’ve easily been the other way round if we lost the toss.
I did say pre test that the rankings are distorted because of their recent fixtures, I’m actually going for them a bit here, I hope Taylor and Williamson can get through this session and make a real game of it.

Agreed - finding myself barracking for kiwi's at the moment because if aus run thru them it will ruin their series i reckon and become a whitewash.

If they can get through only 2 down tonight they will be at a big advantage as 3 bowlers in 40 degrees will be bloody tough regardless of how good they are.

If they can get to Lyon they'll get 500. Can't let him settle.

Huge wicket at this time of night, King Kane would have loved the challenge of batting all day tomorrow.

Nicholls can bat some serious time once he gets in though, they need to bat all day tomorrow, not just for this test but to put some miles into Starc and Cummins

I love it when the Aussies are this blood thirsty. This aggression is electric.

Where would the Kiwis be without their two mainstays of the past decade in this match?

Taylor 66*
Williamson 34
Nicholls 7
Raval 1
