The new Virginia pub, went there Saturday with a few mates, the betting auditorium is huge and well laid out, all day menu, when I went to buy my first beer the dude behind the bar told me if I signed up for a free membership I'll get cheaper beers, he waited until I filled my form out before putting it through.
A little highlight was a bunch of older blokes sitting on the next table, after having a bit of a chat with them they told us they've been catching up every Saturday for about 25 years.
The ball and chain was pretty impressed with the place when she came to collect me so we went back there last night for dinner, once again, the members card knocked $6 off our meal.

I got a pleasant shiver up my spine this morning hearing the Surrey Downs lady who went missing on the weekend near Sedan was found overnight.

The poor family of hers, what they must have gone through for the past few days, the joy and relief they must be going through right now would be amazing.

Entitled private school wankers getting their just desserts.

The three men who bashed two football fans outside a hotel after an AFL match in Melbourne have been jailed.

Xavier College old boys Dominic and Sam Walker, and their friend Benjamin Fitt, pleaded guilty to an attack on two men outside the five-star Pullman hotel in East Melbourne in September last year.

In the video above, sons of top barrister may avoid jail over post-match bashing

Dominic and Sam are the sons of top lawyer Tim Walker QC and the grandsons of biologist and 2000 Australian of the Year Sir Gustav Nossal.

Dominic was sentenced to 12 months jail, Sam to six months and Benjamin Fitt to four months.

They get their own separate jails, right? Anyway, I guess they're already used to wearing an annoying uniform.

Same, I had a fair spread for round 1, round 2 consisted of a plate full of beef and pork doused with gravy, accompanied with the freshest of bread rolls.

The meat just fell apart, I wont eat until tomorrow afternoon now.
