If you get stuck doing it yourself mate, you have to put each spring adjacent to to the one you just placed in, I'm pretty sure the mats are octagonal, do all the points first and then keep going one for one directly opposite if you get my drift.
If you load up too may on one side you wont be able to pull the mat across to get the adjacent springs in.

I was ringing the USA at about 2am on December 25 many years ago going off my nut as I was trying to put a trampoline together and ran out of people to ring, fun times.
