Live telecast on Channel 7 Adelaide and 7Plus
Live video stream at sanfldigitalpass.com.au
Live radio on 1079 Life FM from 12 noon and via the SANFL App

EAGLES
Woodville-West Torrens has named a very settled line-up for the Qualifying Final against Sturt.

Rugged midfielder Jack Firns and versatile defender Joe Heinjus have been added to the Eagles’ 23-man squad.

Both Firns and Heinjus have been listed on the five-man extended interchange bench, which must be trimmed by two before the bounce.

F: Johansen, N. Hayes, Lukosius

HF: Boyd, J. Hayes, Petrenko

C: Hall, Sinor, Lewis

HB: Goldsworthy, Thompson, Rowland

B: Giuffreda, Von Bertouch, Stewart

R: Redden, Sharrad, Poole

INT: Haylock, Gray, Borholm, Firns, Heinjus

IN: Firns, Heinjus

STURT
Sturt will be without two premiership stars for its Qualifying Final clash with the Eagles on Sunday.

Jack Oatey Medallist Fraser Evans will need to be replaced in defence and clearance-winning Aidan Riley in the midfield after both were injured against Glenelg in Round 19.

Evans is battling an ankle ailment which could sideline him for a Semi-Final next week while Riley is expected to miss just one match after hurting his hamstring.

The return of Tom Read from an ankle injury has squeezed Daniel Fahey-Sparks out of the 23-man squad while forward Jake Sutcliffe has also been named on the extended interchange but must prove he has overcome his ankle complaint.

Premiership defender Rune Gilfoy returns from an ankle injury while bullocking midfielder Tom Lewis could replace Riley in the midfield rotation in what would be his Macca’s League debut.

From Meningie FC in the River Murray Football League, Lewis – 179cm and 80kg – was also a leadership group member for the McDonald’s SA Under-18 team this year.

F: Dodd, Taggert, McAdam

HF: Slimming, M. Evans, J. Hone

C: Colquhoun, Thiele, Crocker

HB: Sumner, Stephens, Harms

B: Page, Edmonds, Gilfoy

R: Osborn, Kirkwood, Battersby

INT: Greenslade, Read, Munn, Sutcliffe, Lewis

IN: Thiele, Lewis, Gilfoy, Read, Sutcliffe

OUT: Riley (hamstring), F. Evans (ankle), Fahey-Sparks

The incompetent umpire leant over & told Josh Scott to get up & stop faking. He lay on the ground a further 30 seconds before being helped to the bench with a chipped tooth, split lip & blood pissing out everywhere. How the f#ck does he get off after being given 3 weeks?
Maybe there was money left over from Sunday when they... - ah never mind ;)

As the finals are on channel 7 will it be on the channel 7 live stream?
I'm in Queensland so if it is, how do I get the Adelaide version of the stream, keeps taking me to Sydney. The digital pass doesn't work well here with limited internet but Channel 7 live seems ok.
If someone could post a link to the Channel 7 Adelaide stream it would be appreciated. That's if they are on there?
Hi, My name is Ron 'Bluey' Dunn. Did you know I played in the 61 & 62 Tasman Premiership sides....

Last year I observed the ammos finals and was really impressed with the happy family type home atmosphere it provided.
The biggest challenge to me for the SANFL is to entice old and new attendees and supporters to games.
All clubs must realise the league following slips year by year.
Surely the AFL sides, split rounds, byes, suburban ovals only open for real business on about 9 days a year etc.
just drives followers and sponsors away from the game.
Every year the challenge with the AFL opposition gets bigger and bigger
perhaps the SANFL could look at the SAFL for fresh ideas.
Against the odds they seem to be growing their business.

Great post. The Amateur finals are great days especially when you got multiple representation on the same day. For instance Norwood could possibly have their 18's, Ressies and A's all playing at the Parade next week. Great money maker for the clubs

Yeah agree with you here. The Ammos finals are great. 2 - 3 games on. Plenty of people around. Food and drink reasonable priced and it's a great day.

Maybe there's something to that.

Good tough start to the game, South on top for a fair chunk but should be further in front. Never really noticed it live before but Mitch Harvey looks like he loves his pastries. I know the camera puts on 10 pounds but f*** me.

North took complete control in the middle and tidied up their disposal. Harvey played it smart, got his bulk in the right spot and reaped the benefits. South got intimidated and lost composure, a lucky free at the end keeps them in with a sniff but they'll need to find something in the 2nd half.

North took their chances and showed more composure down back. South will rue missing multiple shots late in the 1st and 3rd quarter and multiple blues in defense. Well played Cocks.
