BIG BAD BUDDY FRANKLIN

Buddy kicked
2 GOALS
11 POINTS
Is that a near record for most points in a game ?
Is the 9 more points to goals a record ?

Goes to prove this guy can do anything !

You would think after you were 0.6 you would start looking for a team mate.

Hey, after being 0 goals 12 points after 48 games for the Noarlunga Shoes C Grade I still managed to kick a goal, I wasn't going to pass that 35 metres shot out from a slight angle at Bice Oval to anyone!

Mind you a week later I did take a mark 20m out on a 80 degree angle and did play on and pass it to a mate who was free in the goalsquare.

Bad luck about the mis-kick ckecksider from the impossible angle into a gale wind blowing through the goals that slewed off the boot and fell into the arms of an unmarked team mate which was later claimed in the bar as a pass Wedgie???

I remember Ablett kicking 8-14 playing on the half forward flank. Not a bad effort. atleast its 22 stats.

LBT, I think the Pres kicked something like 1-7 that day - I think it was down at Kardinia Park.

Sharky, you'll find that Ablett kicked 14-8 and not 8-14 - IIRC it was the famous game where Paul Salmon kicked 10 or 11 in a Bombers win where 50+ goals were kicked (at the MCG?).
