He builds targets not weapons that’s for sure.

But the lowest form of engineer is still better than everyone else ;)

The stupidest people I have met professionally have been super dooper qualified Engineers. My favourite one was a senior engineer at a private firm that shall remain nameless that couldn't work out how to fill down in Excel.

Process driven thinkers, mostly. Throw a human problem, something with obtuse logic or out of the ordinary and they can't cope.

I find usually the people who pot Engineers are the people who either want to be Engineers, or work in Quality Assurance.

I usually find the people that defend Engineers are Engineers themselves or their subordinates who claw at their feet. And I don't work in QA mate ahaha

Another favourite story is when I was in business development and some douchebag Engineer was trying to give me career advice.

"You're smart morell, you could be an Engineer easily!'
"Eh, maybe, why would I do that? I find that stuff pretty boring"
"Well you could earn heaps more, I'm on $x!"
"Errr, wow ok. I'll think about it."

I was earning more than what he said (not because I deserved it, more because I made others money) but didn't want to embarrass him or cause inter-firm argy bargy but it's an example of how they overrate anything to with Engineering and underrate everything else.

There are plenty of good ones, I'm being deliberately ostentatious, but having worked for, with and in charge of Engineers for a long time now, I do struggle with their egos at times.

The smartest person I know is my missus. She has a Degree in this and that and a masters in this and that but more important is her ability to get precisely what she wants out of people without them even realising. The balance of IQ and EQ is something I rate higher than being able to crunch numbers, I suppose.

When people realise I'm with Ms morell, they assume I've either got a fat **** or a fat wallet.

Jokes on them I've got neither! :D

Rocky has nominated port.

Great pickup for them.

should allow gray and wingard to both play forward of the ball more often
