Smith a big loss, really big I think. The game in Geelong where they shut you down and didn't allow run from the back half Smith had 11 touches, Laird 20 ( but only 7 kicks ).

Geelong can put more time into Laird this week and I don't think Mackay or Seedsman worry any top 4 side, not too much anyway.

I still think Adelaide win and fairly comfortably.

For Geelong to win I reckon Smith needs to kick a goal or two on Jacobs, Taylor needs to hold Jenkins out of the game and Geelong's midfield need to stop M.Crouch from chipping it 20m to loose men forward of the contest and see if he can kick it over 35m.

Funny how things change. Last time we played Geelong, Taylor kicked 5 on Keath to keep them in the game, now he's critical in stopping our forwards.

He kicked the last 4 goals of the game when the contest was all but over.

It would be tempting to rest him up and get him right over the summer. We need a Career out of the bloke not just a final out of him. Stanley comes out for Lonners surely and that would be it. Parsons lucky and Stanley unlucky.
