Skillful, smooth mover who uses the ball well and is quick off the mark. Gets out of traffic well and most importantly he's indig so brings that element of black magic :D

He might be ok when he fills out but just does nothing for me ATM. Too similar to Cameron and a lesser extent Betts

Geelong can put more time into Laird this week and I don't think Mackay or Seedsman worry any top 4 side, not too much anyway.

You sound like you may be slowly changing your tip for tomorrow?

I still think Adelaide win and fairly comfortably.

For Geelong to win I reckon Smith needs to kick a goal or two on Jacobs, Taylor needs to hold Jenkins out of the game and Geelong's midfield need to stop M.Crouch from chipping it 20m to loose men forward of the contest and see if he can kick it over 35m.

Funny how things change. Last time we played Geelong, Taylor kicked 5 on Keath to keep them in the game, now he's critical in stopping our forwards.

He kicked the last 4 goals of the game when the contest was all but over.

Taylor will play forward with Lonergan in and McGovern not playing

Taylor will play back. Stanley and Hawkins to play forward along with Cockatoo to slot back in forward line. Cockatoo is the man we have missed.

Trade rumour.....Dees get Lever and gives Pick 10 to Carlton and pick 27 to Crows. Carlton gives Gibbs to Adelaide. Frees up salary cap for Carlton to get Rockliff and use pick 10 to get a player....Devon Smith?

Thoughts on getting Gibbs to Adelaide? I like it....

So you get Gibbs and pick 27 for Lever.

Melbourne get Lever for pick 10.

Not the worst hypothetical trade so far.

Hypothetical is right. It was an opinion piece from Jon Ralph who, I quote "Adelaide will be upset about the deal but need to get over it..." or words to that effect

Carlton won't take just pick 10 for Gibbs, they will want a bit more

The Crows are hopeful McGovern will recover in time from a hamstring injury to be available for the Grand Final next weekend

And Adelaide will want more than Gibbs and 27

Melb would be the only winner giving up 10 and 27 for Lever.

Massive risk the Cock. He's done his hammy three times this year. That's why he's called the Cock, goes in and out and sometimes goes out before the job is done. It would be tempting to rest him up and get him right over the summer. We need a Career out of the bloke not just a final out of him. Stanley comes out for Lonners surely and that would be it. Parsons lucky and Stanley unlucky.

If I were Geelong I would roll the dice on Cockatoo. Worth the risk when he is quite damaging when on, especially with defensive stuff up forward.

My mail is Stanley was told early this week that he's in and if Cockatoo comes back in, Parsons will make way for him.
