And you need to realise most of us come on here for a laugh, a bit of banter & chat about shit like we were sitting at the bar.
Not many budding journalists or atom splitters here, mate.

Agreed wholeheartedly.

One's not better than the other. Same-same but different. I prefer the cut and thrust of BigFooty but thats just my bag. Whatever tickles ya pickle,

Excuse the pun but its just "bigger". I've been on there since 2002-ish but got banned bahaha

There are some excellent posters. Especially on the Port board. The club picks some of them out and publishes them - Macca19s reviews for example.

Once you know who the mooks are and who the guns are, it's actually incredibly informative. Dare I say it ... there are about 20x more knowledgeable posters over there compared to this forum. I dont mean to be abrasive but I could count the amount of posters on safooty who I would go out of my way to read on two hands. BigFooty there would be 40+. Some of them should honestly pursue a sports journalism career. Conversely there are probably 100 "UK Fans" on there as well.

Well f*ck off back over there then if you think you're so much better than the rest of us! ;)
Don't take life so seriously all the time dude, we're all here for a laugh not to be educated.

Absolutely this place is more like a bar than a super hottes up journo trybard breeding area. I think the amount of piss that gets taken each week is a clear indication of that.

Heck when you need bit of a laugh this is a good place. So enjoy and as amber said dont type it so seriously.

OR!

You can all suck my nuts and I'll take whatever the **** I like out of it - or choose not to if want to. What is this a morell intervention on how to enjoy web forums? Good lord.

Never said one was better or worse, just that I personally enjoy BigFooty more for AFL stuff because of it's size you can find some really good higher end type content if you know where to look. You get inside reviews, players, podcasts, media content plus all the funny meme type stuff I've posted above. I enjoy that much more than some rando over 40s half pissed SANFL fan thinking hes in the "front bar" posting utter tripe about shit he knows nothing about.

safooty, particular around the SANFL and AFL threads, is dominated by a particular demographic and persona that I don't easily integrate with. I think you all know what I mean by that, however, safooty is far superior and is fantastic for local footy content - I love my D6/D7 threads, which is the predominate reason for why I am here.

I think BigFooty has too many people, too many opinions and too much bullshit so I don't go in there as I don't easily integrate with most of the posters on there.

Not at all, it's a preference.

Pretty sure if I wanted to find read a local football review for D6 The Bedge wouldn't be posting it on BigFooty, yeah? So it depends what you're looking for.

Fair enough, I would agree. It takes patience and an understanding of where to look and who to read to enjoy fully and if you don't have the time it would be onerous. I often get the "where did you see that" and "what thread is it in" questions from other mates who are posters too.

My ignore list on here is non-existent, my ignore list on BigFooty is about 20 posters long, so I do know what you mean.
