Except that we have the slowest rate in completion in the World I'd imagine. The Torrens to Torrens roadworks would be done inside a year in most other countries, it takes 4 years here

A 14 mile stretch of the M1 in the UK started being upgraded with just cabling and signage in Nov 2015 and estimated completion is Dec 17.

The time frame for the roadworks here seems to be pretty good for the scale of what's being done to South Road.

Id rather them take their time doing it properly than rushing it and f**king it up, eg. South Rd tram overpass.

There you go again HH3 producing facts, no place for that ;)

Agree it's better to take more time and get it right than to rush and make mistakes.

The reason roadworks on arterials in Adelaide takes so much longer is you need to keep the traffic moving otherwise we come to a stand still. That means they need to build new roads on the side of the road works for us to use, while they do the actual works themselves.

... or the Morphett/Diagonal Rd intersection with the Seaford train. Already buggered it up once by relocating a train station right next to it without considering an overpass.

They considered it...and dismissed it due to cost.
Now there is an election coming up, it's back on the agenda.

Henley Beach Road, Lockleys, massive house on the out track, just before the left turn into Rutland Ave and Lockleys FC.

The "Nuffies on AFL Pages" Facebook page.

It reminds me of SAFooty.

Russell Howard, last night at Thebby. Very, very funny, and I'm hard to please with stand-up comedy. His show ran for just over an hour and a half, and I reckon there was a quality gag every thirty seconds or so.
