Ah yes, thats Lovetotalkfooty. Sometimes forgets footy is a contact sport haha.

Got the best sledge ever on saturday. Shaking hands after the game and "an unnamed player" comes up to me and says i am angry when i dont have my snickers. Still laughing now.

Can you please pass on a speedy to recovery to Cam. The big guy was certainly dominating the ruck saturday before he hurt his shoulder. If it is a broken collarbone, then hopefully its a clean break and quick recovery.

Great bunch of blokes at houghton and hopefully success is just around the corner.

Will pass on your regards, yes poor Cam has broken his collarbone in three places. I'm sure someone ran over a black cat from us this season with the run we are having, glad you enjoyed the beers.

Hopefully a quick recovery for the lad, was dominating our ruckman until the injury!

Poor Cam! Hasn't had a great run, hopefully he can have a solid recovery and hit 2018 in full flight!

Good bunch of blokes out at Houghton, but this is the second year in a row that you've had a horrible run with injuries, do you think the general fitness levels of the playing group have something to do with it?

Not really mate as most of our injuries have been broken bones and a couple of ACLs, unsure how much fitness has to do with these. Hopefully things change for us shorty but like a couple have said our major focus is making sure everyone is still enjoying their footy and making the club a welcoming environment for new players and opposition.

Id say the Ingle Farm vs Pulteney game in both the A Grade & B Grade is game of the week. A big day for the Ingle Farm FC 50 Year Celebration should be a big crowd at Rowe Park this weekend.

Who will get the chocolates this time round Zartan or Oldman?

Trinity Vs Houghton B Grade will also be a great game due to their positions on the ladder both fighting for that 5th spot.

The rest of the top 5 teams look to be pretty one sided on paper.

Past Players, Sponsors and Ladies Day at Elizabeth this weekend.

Elizabeth are playing West Croydon in the A grade.

It's great the way other clubs support our past players day by watching our on-field presentations after each game.
Medals are awarded to the Eagles' Best on Ground in each grade.
Recipients receive the Dave Rogers Medal (A grade), Harrison Family Medal (B grade) and, for the first time, this year, the Wayne Richard Medal (C grade).

If next three rounds of results go the way of ladder positions, Elizabeth, BL, TOS will be equal on points heading into Round 18. One team to miss out on double chance. Pul v TOS and BL v Eliz; great games to finish off season.

This division has had some unusual results over the course of the season so I doubt results go the way of ladder positions, but will still be an exciting last few weeks for the double chance..

Whilst it may appear unlikely, Ingle Farm aren't out of the double chance race - beat Elizabeth earlier in the year, and would be confident against SW & HD.

Could well see
Eliz win 2/4 and finish 24pts
IF win 3/4 and finish on 24pts
BL win 2/4 and finish on 24pts
TOS win 3/4 and finish on 24pts

Elizabeth are easily in the box seat with their strong percentage, whilst Ingle Farm and Brahma Lodge are pretty even - may come down to Rd 18 results.

Oldman gets the chocolates once again.

Pulteney B grade been a 5-7 goal better side than Ingle Farm all season - infact most of their scores and margins have been 5-7 better than that of Ingle Farm's against the same opposition. Pulteney also beat IF by exactly 5 goals earlier in the year, and where PUL lost by 4pts to Eliz, IF lost by 7 goals.

The Ingle Farm side isn't anywhere near as strong as it was earlier in the season - evident in last weeks 7 goal win over Fitzroy, and 5 goal victory over TOS a couple weeks ago.

The Blues have only conceded 50 points twice this year (Eliz 75, IF 57), the Farmers on 4 occasions (BL 52 & 61, Eliz 93, Pul 87).
The Blues have only failed to score 100+ on 3x occasions this year, the Farmers on 6 occasions.

Pulteney win this game by closer to 10 goals, but no less than 5 goals.

Lived in North Carolina for few years and now Ohio. Just a long time and prominent supporter of local club in Division 6.
Yes have seen upsets, but over past few weeks results have gone the way they have been expected and expect that to continue until Round 18 and Finals where competition is extremely even.

Really good analysis. However statistics mean stuff all when the ball is bounced take a look at some of the results in the AFL lately geez. I would be surprised if the GREAT MAN who hides behind a mask and goes by the name ZARTAN hasn't come up with a way to even the ledger at 1 all. Last time saw only a kick in it all day until the blues kicked 3 late goals don't let the end margin fool you. The blues have since lost 5 or 6 of there better players and are only a shadow of the team they once were. There draw has been favourable the last month and they face a massive challenge over the last month to hold onto 2nd starting this weekend against a proudly coached and hard physical side on what is their biggest day of the year on their home deck. Going to be a fierce battle hopefully we can get 18 players on the day prepared for such an occasion.
