For their fantasy teams maybe.

$800k for Rockliff would be a stupendously poor decision. Especially if Lever/McGovern leave for more cash.

Yeah if we can have two of those three I'm taking lever and McGovern still.

The next best scenario is we keep lever, sell McGovern to freo for their first rounder and then get rocky in.

Lever is the priority though imo

Rockliff for all his ball-finding ability isn't quick and questionable defensive workrate, not sure he's the answer for the Crows. If McGovern is going they're probably better to take a crack at Lachie Neale

Jake Kelly is impressive also and if necessary could fill Levers shoes to some extent. His improvement over the past 12 months has been huge

The relative worth of Neale and McGovern is interesting. Neale is a better player but players that mark like McGovern are as rare as hens teeth.

So who has to sweeten that deal to get it done?

Neale only re-signed last year for another 3 or 4 years didn't he?

If Lynch plays this week I think it will be the first time this season all our forwards will be available in the same game

But if they want McGovern they will need to part with something.

John Ralph mentioned they other day we offered McGovern in the Gibbs trade but he said no. Don't know how much truth in that there is though

We should be in a decent bargaining position should he want to leave though. McGovern had links to both WA teams who are both screaming out for a player like him and should have cap space to do it.

Good question.

Might depend how low Freo end up finishing .. If they have say 3rd or 4th picks in the drafts, they might be able to grab him in the PSD .. Crow might be better offering him to WC if he prefer's hooking up with his brother?

No one uses the PSD as a threat anymore.
Freo or West Coasts first round pick and maybe a second will get it done

This. Rocky won't win you the hard nut. Gets a lot of it but doesn't hurt.

I have a nagging feeling we will only get a second rounder for McGovern. I would love a first rounder obviously, I just don't think we will get it

Much prefer he stays, along with Lever

The Crows medical team may have helped sink Wood by the sounds of it. Apparently McGovern has severely bruised ribs from that sickening collision:)

Just listened to Lever on the radio.

Didn't sound promising. Dropped the old "just want to concentrate on footy" line.
