Match Abandoned due to rain and that's a good thing for Australia as we were poor for most of the match. Terrible start with the ball and the bat so lucky to get away with a draw.

Hazlewood with a career best 6/52 the only real highlight. Kane Williamson made 100 (97), his ninth ODI century.

NZ 291from 45 overs
Australia 3/53 from 9 overs when the rain came.

Arrrhem...Excuse me but correct me if I'm wrong. Didn't last nights knock lift Holy Moses average by 1. At this rate another 40 odd knocks and he will be right. He's from NSW so this where we get the spiel on his 4 overs bein invaluable for team balance

With the top two from each group going through in this tournament essentially tonight's game Is a round of 16 knockout game.

To win the tournament I think it will unfold like ;
Round of 16 - Bangas
Quarters - England
Semis - Saffers
Final if we make it - India

My tip is the winner will come from the Saffer v Aussie semi if it unfolds that way.

Brutal spell from Starc ripping through the tail with 4/1 off about 9 balls. Spread eagled the last 3 sets of stumps. Great to watch!

Took what could have been a tricky total in excess of 250 to a very manageable 182.

Zampa also outstanding with about 2/10 off 4 at a pivotal point of the dig.

I reckon we will knock this off in about 30 overs.

A win gets us through.

If we Beat Eng, we go to 4 points.
Eng, currently on 2, would need to beat NZ to equal us.
If they do, NZ can only make it to 3 with a win over Bang.

A third washout and we are out of the tournament. What an absolute joke!

And then CA will no doubt still use results as a reason to drop players from the squad..

Not Necessarily.
If NZ wash out both their remaining games as well, then its a tie for second! lol
Also, if Bang beat NZ & NZ beat Eng we could see all 4 sides end on 3 points, meaning NRR comes into it.

Plenty of ways to make it even with 3 wash outs!

It has to reach the 20 over mark to constitute a match for Duckworth Lewis to come into play.
