Incorrect, the comp just changed it names. Any suggestions that Port "moved" between any comps is also incorrect. A new entity was created who eventually killed the original PAFC, the records clearly show that.

The "original PAFC" got what it deserved for stabbing the SANFL in the back in 1990.

Never ceases to amaze me how people involved in football clubs can get so caught up on what one piece of paper says or doesn't say in regards to how a club defines itself. Of course new entities had to be created to move to the AFL for all sorts of legal and logistical reasons.

Leaping onto that to somehow try and undermine or delegitimise Port Adelaide is honestly so very sad.

The Port Adelaide Football Club moved to the AFL in 1997. And that's it really.

But they'll tell you this PAFC is a new one, but they hate it like it's the old one and the net result is it's us having our cake and eating it too. ;)
PAFC. Forever.

I'm just out side the Magarey Room, like 30 odd steps from seat to bar, I'll see you both in there at half time then? :D

Bit fancy for old mate UK Fan and me Booney, we'e old school types. Your earthy true fans. It's watered down west end in the rain and mud for us.

Plus UK Fan is an ex Central's supporter and thus has a bad tattoo on his forearm and a wardrobe of flannelette, dad jeans and old white ASICs sneakers... thus in a room like that he doesn't like the stares and frightens easily.

eFA!!

I'll be at the pub Thursday night lads. You boys enjoy though.

I'm confident there will be plenty of backslapping on a Thursday night without me.

Sorry to disappoint but I have no tattoos, flannelette, asics and or a Holden car.

Being port fans I'm sure you boys will be offering your services at cost down at the wharf win or lose. Or gutting rabbits :-)

Instead of Never Tear Us Apart perhaps Port should have played "Kick" to Dixon.
