Because home ground is huge in soccer. 50/50 compared 85/15 support.

Of course, but surely tottenham are selling tickets to their supporters first, so could still create a one sided stadium?
Im just thinking of a scenario where say Chelsea could get 90k chelsea fans against liverpool, instead of 40k.

They'd lose home ground advantage in EPL games where at least playing European sides they still have home country advantage.
