U Bet have been on board for 2 years, this is a further 2 year agreement.

Again, other clubs are refusing to take sponsorship $ from gambling companies, LUXbet at Richmond as an example.

Im not saying its right or wrong, just compared to its peers its a different approach

Don't see a problem with it TBH.
I know we made over $2.5m in profits from pokies this year and most clubs would do similar

Fair to say the Melbourne based clubs also have access to more corporate dollars than the two clubs here in SA. Not at major partner level ( Renault and Toyota ) but at the next tier down. Victorians also have access to live betting which SA residents ( ;) ) do not, potentially making gambling more of an issue in Victoria. Either way Port were involved so Dutchy can't be seeing it as anything but another negative.

Jobs for the boys would be relevant into most business or industries. It seem no matter how useless someone is if they are mates with the big boys they will be looked after.

Huge coincidence that the AFL were looking at getting away from gambling and then 2 minutes after Demetriou leaves the AFL he is appointed the job at Crown who then proceeded to become one of the AFL's major partners

Victorians don't have access to live betting, AFL market is also saturated in Victoria.

So when are Port going to finally come clean to the media re. Impey?
Not very professional to effectively have a media ban since the incident.
Golden boy Kane can't even get an interview.

MAybe they should've got rid of a few Victorian clubs a few years ago or move one to Tassie.....

Exactly, putting profits back in to where they were created, alcohol sponsorship's are more of a detriment to society IMO, not that I give a shit about either.

About the same time that the Cows come clean on Matt Jaensch I expect. 5double crow have been silent on that also

I hate the Crows more than I hate Port, so I hate having to stick up for them but you are way off on Jaensch. There was a very good reason he decided to quit and it has nothing to do with committing a crime.

How ironic that Koch, when something happens at another club is the first one to point the finger & declare "we wouldn't stand for that at Port", yet he's remained conveniently silent on the incident. What about the king of spin Keith Thomas? Is he too following the club's lawyers advice and hiding also? They're probably worried that the "story" would change again
Poor Tommy Jonas was left to unconvincingly face the media instead.

Keep sweeping it under the carpet, I'm sure everyone will eventually forget. Maybe Rucci should start a count of days until Port come clean
