I have no issue with the batsmen being called out for the no ball because it was definitely a no ball but it doesn't sit comfortable with me with how selective they are about what balls get checked for a no ball, imho it has to be every ball or none

Every wicket gets checked

Why do bowlers need to be do close to the mark, move back 20cm

Yeah just wickets.

If the amount they miss just on wickets would mean every innings there would a fair few no balls missed, meaning extra balls, potentially extra wickets, potentially extra runs different batsmen on strike etc

When a team is trying to bowl a team out on the last day they don't check which could be extra balls to take wickets.

Teams chasing runs miss out on extra balls faced potentially run scoring balls

Every ball of the innings should be discreetly checked by the third umpire

Picked up a crucial wicket

Got to laugh at all the Bird hate on Facebook at the moment, last week all our SA proud cricket lounge experts congratulated the selectors on picking two SA boys............Nek minnit and Australia put in their worse performance in recent memory!

He hasn't bowled great but there has also bee some bad fielding and couple of lucky edges down to the boundary that has added 12 undeserved runs to his figures

My point was more us so called experts were praising selectors for great decisions which proved to be horrible choices.

7 days later we become experts again and all a sudden don't back the selectors
