so much for no-one liking him at Centrals!

He met with the leadership group and they were happy with what they heard.

I am not sure I like this. When 3 ex-players (2 captains and 1 ex assistant coach) say he is the worst individual they have met, I tend to listen. Especially when those 3 players are extremely respected in football circles. I guess time will tell.

Any word on Jake Johannsen? Heard he was not happy at Bays and been shopping himself around. Came third in B&F, but not popular with his team mates, plays very selfish. Clubs treading warily as they have heard the murmurs!

selfish? Like Boyd?

Haven't heard anything on JJ- he did sign late last year so I would expect he will sign on.

Appleton likely to land at North, mates with Schwarz.
Good chance to find an Eagles target if he is playing against us.

Yes, I think he was told wouldn't be playing league, regardless of performance (which seems bizarre if true).

Appleton was given plenty of chances, good at clearances but better at turnovers.
Good team man etc but rated his own performances by nunber of touches, not effectiveness.

In fairness to Ben Nason, you have to give him some credits for the amount of perseverance he has to play league SANFL football.

Not many blokes left like him, to be honest less than a handful.
