His finals form is much more the standard of his output in game sthat matter. Carlton would jump at that, probably can save pick 13 for Rocky then

Because Adelaide would not give two first rd picks for a guy with 2-3 years of good footy left
This deal should just be shelved. Clearly Carlton want too much and Adelaide would be offering market value for him which should be no more than pick 13.

MW wrote:Yes he's contracted but he clearly doesn't want to be there anymore, what value does he have at Carlton moping around for 3 years?
Adelaide, while needing a quality mid, will play this to the deadline IMO. Pick 13 or GTFO.
Who blinks first...

Who said he would be moping around?
Carlton have all the power in this one, will probably take this years first and next years with maybe a later pick coming back to the Crows. That's pretty fair and reasonable for a contracted player. If he was in his last year then pick 13 would be enough for him

You think he'll be happy staying?
Absolutely no chance we will give two first rounders for him.
Scrap the deal and move on.
Port can't fit him in the cap and have already said they don't want him,

Well actually he or his management said he would like a move home and preferably to Adelaide if a suitable trade can be arranged.
It is clear from both parties a suitable trade can not be arranged.
Who blinks first. Well its not Carlton because they wont even give you the time day at the moment.
