Daily Golf - Where you are playing and how you go

Played at the Vines a couple of weeks ago, never been a big fan of the course, compared to Flaggy, but it was in the best condition Ive ever seen it, esp coming off a harsh winter, the greens were outstanding and rolled very true, reckon they had the roller on them. Well worth a look if looking for a hit somewhere.

I was meant to play there Sunday morning but Flaggies won the flag, and I 'had' to attend that... :drinkers:

This topic is a little off golf but does have a golf theme. I am going to the Riverland with eleven other blokes for golf and Cox Plate. Did it last year and we went to the Barmera Hotel and whilst it was ok for the races it died away pretty quick. Does anyone have any inside information on somewhere that goes ok in the evening? I have heard that Berri is no good anymore but would like some information from someone that knows.
