Went with no expectation last night and thought we did OK in patches but struggled up forward to convert and put any sort of pressure on the Crows. Maj was great and Dumont did some good things, with Cunnington & JZ only mid 20's there is a chance of a rebound without bottoming out. I look forward to seeing what this new era brings.

Crows were less than impressive, will cop a flogging in Sydney.

Daw has a beautiful kicking action and whilst he kicked 4 goals I reckon that was about the only 4 touches he had for the night, simply doesn't do enough and spends long periods running around like a headless chook

Jesus, I just woke up in Pattaya and just went through all the posts last night.... Bit fiery!

Everyone needs to have a bong and chill a bit :D . Too much dick measuring going on about who is going to be right next week! Just need to look at the results Thursday night and yesterday arvo to see that the bye has thrown out some odd results. There is every chance it could happen again next week and even though Sydney has had a great record over the years, I'd rather play them at that concrete shit tip than at the SCG.

Peace out guys, I'm off to avoid chicks with dicks.... Have a great week!

Love when losing supporters say winning teams are less than impressive when they have won by 10 goals. What else would you like them to do?

What your really saying is the team you support is totally shithouse

After the first three games on the weekend, last nights was like watching a regular season game for its lack of intensity that you normally get with an AFL final. Housemate said it was like watching an SANFL game compared to the other games

Agreed, I was enthralled with the first three finals, turned over to Rugby and Soccer during last nights game.

To be fair i think it was more about NM being shit then anything the crows did. I mean north only laid 6 tackles in the third quarter which is incredible. The crows will have to lift next week no doubt but hard to say anything bad about last night as they did their job.

So they won by 62, what margin constitutes a good win?

They won by 62 against a team who has won 2 of their last 12 games. Nothing too special about that. North are useless. You'll get torn a new arsehole next week.

I don't think Adelaide will go much further in the finals because:

1. They are not as good at ground balls as the other finals teams - their players have a tendency to lift their heads before taking he ball - good teams don't. They were better at it last night but against Collingwood and West Coast they were poor at it.

2. There hand ball more often at the feet of their team mattes or they loop it. makes them easy to break down.

3. Their goal scoring accuracy - poor goal kicking against St Kilda, North Melb, Melbourne and West Coast earlier in the season arguably cost them 4th spot on percentage.

This is not the to say the Crows are hopeless but compared to Hawthorn, Sydney, Geelong and GWS they aren't in the same class, IMO

What the Crows do do well though is their team defence and press. They certainly make it hard for teams to transition out of their D50 which gives Adelaide opportunities for repeat F 50 entries.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!
