In the last quarter Bass was on the phone whilst Kenny was sitting on his hands looking dumbfounded. For all his knockers Bass has done a pretty good job with a makeshift defence, probably the only line coach that can hold his head high at Port

Well done to Melbourne, they will be a good side sooner rather than later, Weideman, Watts and Hogan up forward will win many games in the future. We missed Frawley big time. Poor kicking for goal in the first 3 quarters cost us, Gunston no where near the dead eye dick he used to be, The young quick teams worry us ( Giants, Dees, Saints) Smith was good but Hill was well down, proves my point how important he is to our chances.
Roos and Eagles become huge matches now, we might have to do it from 5th yet but i suspect it mightve been the loss we had to have, wouldve been extremely hard to win 16 in a row to the flag
I imagine those 3 umpires wont be participating in Septemeber ;)

Frawley out was massive, as was the injury to Stratton. Hodge is utterly cooked, I hope he plays on next year. Cyril kept you in it with a remarkable individual performance.

That's why it doesn't make sense that you are after Tom Mitchell.

I bet nobody bats an eyelid in the melbourne media either

To be fair B Mac, not a mention in the Herald Sun today. I do know that the car parks at the MCG were all closed due to wet weather.. Read into that what you will. In the pub I was in before the game Pies supporters outnumber Tiger fans 3/1... Only 38,000 there today for Dees v Hawks as well...
