Does any human love another human more than Bruce McAvaney loves Cyril Rioli?

Enjoyed the niggle/aggro. Hawthorn do the little things so well, and they were spot on tonight with their tap-ons to advantage, great to watch. Dominated the rucks/clearances as expected.

Umpires just terrible all round. Like most, some of the HTB calls just sh*t me.

Charlie Dixon has a very punchable face.

What a ridiculous comment.

How so? Clearly concussed or at least showed signs and they didnt even do the 20 min concussion test. Complete disregard for the players welfare. Not only do you have a bunch of scrubbers running around on field, the incompetence has spread to off field

Was Hartlett officially concussed? If so, questions will be asked as to how soon he was able to come back on.
As for the umpiring, I can't recall a worse performance for the season. Truly staggering all night.

The most staggering part of the night surely was Rucci asking Ken Kinkley his opinion of the greyhound racing industry...cringe worthy

Clearly no club takes any chances with concussion in todays game.

The umpiring was truly unbelievable.

Fair to say they lost control the men in green...someone said it at the presser that they may have been over zealous cause of the pre game quotes by Clarko...might have been Clarko himself mentioning that.

Even my daughter said last night "they better get to specsavers" lol

Umpires aside who were just well - it's mind boggling to watch their performance - I really enjoy watching Hawthorn play, but I've got to say I can NOT STAND listening to the commentators and in particular Bruce.

Last night Cyril's non-mark in the 3rd - over 10min and Bruce still carrying on about it, cant believe it wasn't a mark, what a leap, what a player, should've been paid blah blah blah! MOVE ON FFS!

Then after the game, Hawks win and all I hear is 5min of talk about Rioli - you've got to come to the footy to watch him play, he's this, he's that, please Cyril blow in my mouth blah blah blah!!

PLEASE why cant you just commentate the game - sure good to give some credit and props to players but don't harp on about it - I want to hear about the game FFS.

The biggest problem is the commentators complaining about the umps not understanding the theatre of the game and paying marks like that. FFS they get crucified when they make a mistake but then get told some things are ok to get wrong if it looks good? Bruce should be booking his retirement trip with Dennis.

Bruce is a caricature of his former self. Still goes ok on the tennis and I guess will host the olympics but he is embarrassing on the footy these days. Especially when hawthorn are playing

I think Bruce loves everybody but plays it up beyond belief

Cyril to Lley Lley and Courier into Francesca (can't blame him there)

But it is getting cringeworthy.
