Collingwood do, his names McGuire. End the conversation. In a week where a White ribbon match is held, the AFL sign onto be partners with the campaign to end violence against women and this? The bloke is a dead set moron with no tact whatsoever.

McGuire said he pay "10 grand, 20 if she stayed under and 50 if she doesn't come up" so I think the AFL should take him up on that $50,000 offer. Thanks fool, we'll donate that to the White Ribbon initiative.

Why do we have to tolerate McGuire saying "Well it wasn't that way in my head at the time". Who gives a **** what was in your head at the time Eddie, time and weight of numbers has proven to us that what "was in your head at the time" was a load of shit from a by gone era.

Time for him to step aside.

ha ha, but it was just a joke, *snigger* *chortle* *guffaw*

Spot on Boon, Eddie is way out of line with this jsut like he was way out of line with his comments about Goods (making a joke) during the monkey-gate fiasco.

He's still stuck in the 70s trying to a be a modern Lou Richards, newsflash, Ed, the world has moved on...

The boys don't like the fact that Caro stands up to them
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Oh, so it's all because of the week he made a joke and apologised in even though another radio station makes the same comment in the same week and doesn't apologise but it's Eddie that needs to go?
Well that makes sense.

No, it just highlights how out of touch he is, the focus around the game ( off field ) was all about female involvement. So you can say whatever you want, so long as you apologise?

What comments did the other station make?

Surely apologising is better than saying the exact same thing and not apologising?
Caro and 3AW had banter that was exactly the same as MMMs laughing at the possibility of Caro being held under water.
You seem to be very selective on what you hear and comment on.

Remember this was also said before the Big Slide, light hearted entertainment for a great cause and how many times did people say exactly the same thing about Maguire?

Replace Caro with any other media blokes name and nothing would be made of this.
The day she stops taking pot shots at everyone is the day she can expect the same in return. Good to see clubs have started to ban her and others from having contact with players

It's not just his comments and it's unlikely anyone with some sense would go and attack a woman because of McGuires comments, but it is just another example of him putting his foot in his mouth and thinking a cursory "It wasn't like that in my head at the time" gets him out of it.

This one is as much about him being held accountable as it is the contents of his comments.

It's just not us that hate her even Richmond can't stand her anymore. Atleast 4 of the Melbourne clubs have blacklisted her but that's still better than the 13 clubs who currently have the Purple Flog banned

Whether you like her or not it's still unacceptable. The argument about 'what if' this was said about a man is BS because it wasnt and if it was it still would be uncalled for. Of course it was toungue and cheek, but why the hell would you joke about murdering someone??? Especially from a bunch of blokes in their position.

Absolutely. It's a great cause in the very first and most important respect, secondly there's plenty of people I'd like to see get pushed down that slide into the ice bath but there really isn't any that I'd publicly announce to have "held under" or people pay to "bomb onto" as they said.

And that was said on 3AW while Caro was part of the conversation! Nothing said apart from laughs.

I think its funny that Caro continually gets under their skin so much that they feel the need to say stuff like this, Id ignore her personally and she wouldn;t get as much fanfare.

Can't comment on the 3aw stuff as I haven't seen it reported.

It's because she isn't part of the boys club. Wrote an article during the week about McGuire possibly thinking about his replacement. Probably got him pissed off

And ironically proved her right.

3AW on the same day -

Dwayne Russell - We'd have to sell tickets for those who want to push you Caro I reckon.

Caro - Thats very funny Dwayne. Hysterical.

Tony Shaw - And hold her under Dwayne

Caro - Oh, boys.

Got nothing to do with the boys club. It's her constant lies and her unwillingness to admit she is wrong that's gets most people upset. Her Vendetta against Brayshaw, McGuire and others has been ongoing for years and even though she has been called out many times over her lies she has refused to apologise
