A different view to most.

they have the div 2 premier Unley winning the div 1 flag, and the div 3 premier PHOS winning the Div 2 flag haha :D

How about a Div 6 v D1R side?

So, that's a bit like someone predicting PNU to win Div 1 and Unley to win Div 2 before the start of last season....not inconceivable.

As would I... Some dubious journalism going on in that footy budget write up... I know teams like Henley, PNU and Goodwood have lost a host of quality players, and yet it states that Goodwood were a safe bet to make finals and Unley to take out the flag?! Anyways, hard to make too many judgements early doors. Should be a cracking round one opening though!

On paper, PAOC and ROCS have very formidable and experienced units and have recruited well. Gullies are always up and about, and there's a bit of a dark horse in Salisbury North, who have blitzed pre season from all accounts.

Final pre-season ladder guess:

1. Tea Tree Gully
2. ROCS
3. Salisbury North
4. PAOC
5. Goodwood
6. Henley
7. PNU
8. Port Districts
9. Unley-Mercedes
10. Adelaide Uni

Looking at the quality of big blokes in particular that the Grade has lost (Milne, Christie, Clinton, Clarke, Paget, Smelt) I expect Cockshell to be ridiculously dominant. Won't win the medal (but thanks to him Hand no doubt will) but will be the "MVP" by far.

Fairly certain Cockshell is going away for a fair chunk of the season.

Unley were R/U last year, weren't they?

So essentially Clint Dow will be the best big man in D1!?

Yep. And they have certainly set us a challenge!

And putting PAOC seventh. I smell a rat. Either this article was written to take the heat off PAOC or Rocket offered/gave a free ladies day ticket to the author! Jets.

TTG easily over ROCS 50+ points. Trent Melville show 9 goals to half time 11 for the match

Trying to sell my house at West Beach. Talking to the real estate agent who knows I'm involved with cricket at a western suburbs club not far.
Tells me he has Josh Thurgood's house up for sale who's heading back to Melbourne. Don't know how true, but was interesting from the broker.

Yes Thurgood's house is on the market. My mate informed me the other day that a house down the road from mine is actually his house. It remains on the market, has been on it for awhile now and has even dropped in price. It seems there hasn't been much interest in it.

The broker yesterday was sure it was Thurgood's and he had no reason to tell me lies. Might be true about heading back to Melbourne then
Hoping he can generate more interest in selling mine, than with Thurgood's. Not a good thing to hear about being on the market for a while

Don't even start me on that absolute debacle thanks Marbles.
I wouldn't be counting that as a given, until the fat lady is on the stage and singing Marbles.

The whole sideshow will will start very soon on that episode. Get the pop corn out, put the beers on ice, get the deck chair out. Strap yourself in.
It's going to get hot in the kitchen. The fireworks whilst already started, is about to hot up significantly.
