Not surprisingly having heard me go off on autistic 12th man tangents for years I got the best of Richie double CD for Xmas. Some timeless material in that lot.

Looking to boost your average means your looking to score runs and not get out, probably not the worse attitude to have

Thought his innings was perfect for the situation, there was only one way the Windies were going to get close to 300-400 and that was by keeping the aussies out in the field for as long as possible and grind them down.

What happened once he sense the ton, he played shots and got out

If he had done that on 20-40 everyone would have been calling him out as a pea heart etc etc

If it was only half as good it would be a winner.

I think the problem might be that he would need to tackle it differently. Don't know too many punters who live to hear the commentary team these days whereas his previous work endeared us to the team. There also isn't anyone iconic really apart from Bill or Ian but some kind of Tony and Richie dream sequence to Bill and Ian to inspire them to kill the current team for not putting the game before their own agenda, ideas and self absorbed, self serving bullsh@t could be the album plot.

OK I'm on board, I'm messaging Billy Birmingham on My Face or Space Book as he would say :lol:

Ian Healy is bad and dribbles a lot of crap but at least he doesn't sound like he is nagging me. My podium is Underwood, Brayshaw and Brian Taylor. I wish they would all go away forever. :evil:

You wouldn't want them batting for your life but the Windies openers have looked particularly comfortable in the first 25 minutes this morning.

I think we might have to work a bit harder than the previous 3 digs to remove the top order today.
