What happened?

I think Locky is referring to Braithwaite bowling wide of off stump and one delivery being called a wide? Was a good call by the Umpire.

Or is it to do with their f**king disgraceful over rate?

over rate is crap, need to resolve this, 20 extras added per over behind the rate, could mean 100 runs in a day, soon get them bowling quicker

Having 4 of his 10 digits tapped up certainly doesn't help his catching. He was lucky to catch Warner, almost slipped out.

Surely Jason Holder will come under security for today's over rate?

Pretty familiar scorecard 3/345 at stumps.

Probably 6/550dec by 45 minutes before tea with either Smudge or AV to be the third centurion before we close our innings.

Windies likely to be 4 or 5 down by stumps. Just for variety probably won't make them follow on this time with back to back tests and to ensure 4 days.

They simply are the worst touring team I have seen in memory in my life.

Sri Lanka circa mid 80's were as bad but with reason. This mob is just shambolic. The spinners bowl darts and their medium pacers bowl too short, too wide and without thought to their field placement.

I remember the Mid 80 Lankans and they had some massive upside as they would prove ten years later winning the World Cup. The Windies are terrible in the field, their bowling is rubbish and their batting just as bad. The other thing is that mid 80 Lankans team only played the one dayers and actually won a game. This team couldn't beat the dyslexic society at scrabble

Just terrible to watch a test side go about their business like they do. I get batting and bowling need talent and they're desperately short on that with their best players, let alone when they all choose to play other forms. But effort and pride are non negotiable. Kemar Roach should be on a plane tomorrow after his pi$$ poor attitude today. Get blokes who want to play in, regardless of whether they're the most talented or not. This West Indies side should be the hardest working, best fielding side in world cricket. At least to give themselves something to hang their hats on. Save some runs, make some chances for run outs, take a few blinders and close the gap in the field. Perhaps then the bowlers will feel like they can build pressure and the batsmen like they're contributing.

This thing you speak of is pride. They don't seem to play with it and it certainly doesn't emanate from their body language and performance. The perception they have created on me is Its almost as if they are doing their country a favour kitting up for them. Probably part of that is through no fault of there own but there pissweak money-hungry mercenary big bash fellow half dozen countrymen who should all be in their touring squad.

I'm no international cricketer and it's easy for me to sit here and pass judgement but even in Div 7 next year at 41 as an old, fat, slow, washed up hack I will always play with pride. When it's your turn to go or contribute it's simply a not negotiable. You MUST contribute to the team and your mates as that's the commitment you have made. These guys are paid professionals and they are letting themselves and their country down.

Australia's recently retired/injured and tour selected. I reckon this mob would flog the Windies as well. Probably just as badly. How's the attack

1. Rogers
2. Bancroft
3. Watson
4. S. Marsh
5. Clarke (C)
6. Maxwell
7. Haddin - WK
8. Johnson
9. Starc
10. Harris
11. O'Keefe
