The first thing that comes to my head...
One thing that was mentioned on the show a few times but most viewers would have missed was the camera light cues. Unlike other TV studios 31,44, AceTV did not have a functioning red light on top of the cameras. So when the camera angles changed you would not be prompted by the obligatory light but by a very large bulbous man with a pony tail named Pete from memory. Only problem was Pete was its fair to say a battler who may or may not have smelt like my old mates convey van or James Squires hops and not been super sharp. That was always one of my favourite things about the show, always entertained me, especially when Pete dropped the ball and started pointing all over the place.
It wasn't as glamorous as it may have seemed.
