Watched most of the first episode of House of Cards the other night. I fell asleep, but that was to do with being rooted from sport on Saturday, not due to the show.

It seemed like something I would like. Not too sure about when he speaks to the camera. And the southern accent throws me a little bit as well.

I'll give it a few more episodes and see how I go.

His direct speaking to the viewer contains some of the best stuff in the show. Stick with it fella, you won't be disappointed.

Damn straight. House of Cards is some of the best telly I've watched in a long time.

Watching Francis spin his political webs and playing people off one another is captivating, and at the same time a bit scary because you know that this is how stuff probably goes down behind the scenes in the corridors of power. He is a great character, and part of the fun is watching him develop throughout the series (and seasons). I like his southern accent and idioms when he breaks the fourth wall. It's different, but I don't think it takes away from the tension and narrative.

His wife, Claire, is just as interesting a character to watch - shades of Lady Macbeth.

I'll watch an episode or two tonight i reckon.

I tried watching these super hero series's's's and they lose me about halfway through a season. I think i need something that will stimulate my mind a bit more than what a flying flip kick will.

Yep, get on this too HH3. They've only made one season (so far), so not much for you to catch up on.

Si si! Narcos es muy bueno!

I've seen up to the episode that
he gets shamed by the police minister in parliament.

Thats pretty good. I watch most of my tv late at night, and don't like reading subtitles when Im tired, so I think that's why I haven't kept with it.

I'll give House of Cards a crack and finishing Narcos can come next.

For those who have got Netflix and enjoy true crime documentaries, "Making a Murderer" is worth a squiz. It has just been released in the last couple of days and the first two episodes have been fascinating. Ten episodes in total.

Started watching "The Making Of The Mob" on Foxtels crime channel last week. I'm always interested in gangster stuff, so this was right up my alley*. For those that enjoyed Boardwalk Empire, there's some fairly familiar characters.

Im only four episodes in, but how the f**k can this "police work" be held up im court?

Its actually so laughable its making me angry. For Brenden anyway. Mike and Fassbender are pieces of shit.

Just starting watching "The Fall" on Netflix, and hadn't really heard much about it. Almost finished season 1 (they're short, only about 5 episodes), and I reckon it's definitely worth a look.

Gillian Anderson plays an English superintendent sent to Belfast to review a police investigation and ends up investigating a serial killer who keeps knocking people off whilst they try to piece the clues together. It's an English-Irish co-production, so it has a different feel and aesthetic to a US produced TV series.

Just finished Better Call Saul and thought it was a great first season. Really like that they've included Mike's story as well.

Season 2 starts in Feb apparently.
