Hayden's 380 not on your list ?

couldn't recall if it was in Perth or not, have checked and it was, certainly right up there even though the opposition wasn't first class, bit like the bowlers Warner is facing right now

Most disappointing player so far. Has bowled very poorly.

What r NZ's total bowling figures on tour so far, they would have been hit for around 1800 runs

Is it some sort of record

Since hitting our soil they are 21/2,300ish and that includes bowling out the PM X1 in a one dayer

Makes my prediction at the start of his career that he would become our best opener ever a little underwhelming now. Could go close to becoming one of our best ever full stop

Got a quote to back that call up Jim? I cant be bothered checking it up but given your disdain for all things 20/20 i cant imagine you backing Warner in at the start

Was a long time ago, was after he went back to Shield and had that real good season and was recalled. At the time I copped a bit of stick about it and only MAL backed me up

DAVID WARNER
Yep
I recall David getting out cheaply in Test cricket innings and being castigated by a few posters , and probably fair enough
Some were saying words to the effect that he needs to be more patient and stop playing at times in 20/20 mode
What I posted was, Warners natural game is to attack, and he was best suited to play this way

WINNING FORMULA
Thats the way a lot of Australian batters have played for some time now
We have been arguably the best team of the last 20 years , so its been a good formula
Formula being score quickly and long enough and give the bowlers enough time to get 20 wickets

WARNER NOW AND AFTER
Right now Warner is in amazing form
The detractors will be silenced for the time being
He will inevitably have a bad run , which will include over attacking or loosish shots
Then the David Warner fear club will most probably re-emerge

38 degrees today and the day will start with Davey and Smudge at the crease. It's hard not to imagine this is going to get real ugly for the Kiwis. Should we bat for half the day or 45 overs at our current run rate which I can't see dropping too much we will be easily over 600.

Then I think our attack will make much better use of the pace and bounce. I'd expect them to be 4 or 5 down at stumps. I would hope we use our reviews better than NZ.

Bat for 10 overs this morning to get the eye in.
Then go at 10 an over, for 50 or so overs, make 1000, have the last 20 or so overs at them tonight.
Then they will know, it will be final, that NZ will always be our bitch at cricket.
