Have you watched a U/12 match?
U/12s 6-7 of them would struggle to do it consistently . So you want them to just stand in the field for an hour and 4 kids bowl all day, that should keep them interested in the game. It's about getting them to participate. The best players should be encouraged to attempt to play a higher age bracket.

Mate, I've coached them for the last 3 years along with representative sides for under 11's. 80% of the kids I've seen have no hassles getting the ball up the other end with either on or two bounces max, wides do become an issue with the lesser skilled 3 or 4 in the team.

Under 10's however, most of the coaches are pretty good at seeing this as a formative age group and are happy letting some of the kids bowl from the first strap after the crease line.

That is why I asked you what association have you been watching, the PDCA seems to work pretty well for the under 12 age group and I watched my first Western Suburbs match yesterday for the under 11's and it seemed ok.

I do stress to the kids in my team that they'll get two overs and I'll judge by them overs if they get anymore, I do point out every run that they concede through wides are extra runs that we have to make, I spend a lot of time on the lesser skilled players and their bowling by putting bowling discs on the ground and making sure they aim for them along with working on keeping their arm up nice and high and just focusing on where they want the ball to land.

I've coached junior cricket for the past 15 years and my aim each season is to make the gap between the best and weakest player in the team as small as possible.

1174 runs, 372 from extras. 32% compared to 41%. it is somewhat excessive, mind you many of these would've been ran off or gone to the boundary, lucky the PDCA has an 8 ball limit on the over.

U10s and possibly u12s should all be only 8 per team, it means more gaps for the kids when they do hit a ball, easier to decide if there is a run there, the kids in the field have to chase more balls and hence stay interested. In a typical game everyone would bowl 3 overs instead of 2 and bat for 6 instead of 4,

I've got some credits with them from some flights I cancelled about 3 weeks ago when I was crook. I've got numbers to reference, I've got about $1000 "credit" with them, I need to go to Perth tomorrow.

I tried rebooking with them last week when flights were ( total ) around $600 return, now they're over $1100 return and Webjet have given me no correspondence to say they have booked the flights....

You ring, you get Sebastian or Derek in Mumbai and they want $50 to change the booking on the phone....get ****.

You'll probably find that even though you've got the $1000 'credit" they still refrain to tell you of all the ridiculous fees you'll have to pay to change your flights. Qantas are the best to deal with, everyone else will come close to ripping you off blind if you even want to correct a spelling on a booking.

No, you have to book through Webjet, not the airline.

The organisation I work for uses Webjet quite often, it is usually a reliable, cost effective option as we bundle car hire into the deals and occasionally accommodation. It's the complexity of dealing with a person who has English as a second language in this instance where a cancellation / re-booking has already been cocked up once.
