Unbelievable trade.

Well done Adelaide. As for Carlton- put down the crack pipe. 28 and Kerridge for one of the few shining lights in your squad??

Did Carlton leave the work experience kid in charge of the trade table this week?

Brisbane get Bastinac and picks 34,38,40

According to the Herald Sun

Good deal for the Roos, Bastinac no longer in our best 22, gives space for youngsters like Turner and Dumont to come thru and pick up a first rounder.

Essentially Jed Anderson for Bastinac

Does a player or club have a responsibility to tell their potential new club of how many strikes they are under?

Seriously, how many players wouldn't be under a strike?
Seems like a massive number are on them, if you believe the rumours.

If we know the "rumours" of course the clubs would too.

Not sure how I feel about the deal. Reckon it's slightly overs for the crows but Menzel has bigger upside

Menzel has AMAZING upside compared to the mid range list clogger Kerridge is!

Agreed. Kerridge is pretty much a tagger only, doesnt offer much at all.
If Menzels knees hold up it will be well worth it

Wonder if we tried for his brother in the Dangerfield deal but Geelong wouldn't go for it. Seems like Adelaide are targeting ex SA boys.

For Pick 28 and Kerridge?

Someone wake me up when this nightmare is over.

Menzel does have talent, having watched him closely i think he has a very poor work rate. There is a reason why he couldnt get a consistent run in the past two years in a very shit team. We cant do anything now except trust SOS, nothing else has worked for the past 20 years.

Would be a bit tough getting motivated to play in a team playing poorly like Carlton have as a small forward (no offence intended)

As Dutch said hopefully Adelaide have done their due diligence re off field things.

Because to the neutral observer it seems really strange to trade someone with so much upside from a such a rubbish squad
