Danger supposedly will be telling the Crows this week he's going to sign a 5 year deal with Geelong.

Fun fact: Danger has never won the Crows B&F award.

I think you're letting your obsessive hatred of the Crows cloud your reading of other people's posts. I was in no way downplaying Danger's departure.

I think all clubs would of atleast made a play for him.
Apparantly we offered him 4 years by $1.2m but he laughed at us as he should.

Impossible with the re-signings the Crows have made and the cap space Geelong have freed up, Geelong get him for free :)

At least they have Betts,

The Betts cost them a genuine crack at Jeremy Cameron and will now cost them the chance of holding onto Dangerfield

And he won't be part of their next premiership side!!!

Doubt you would have $1m+ a year left in your cap.
Unfortunately for the Crows I think they will be screwed royally in this trade.

Apparently the Crows had a couple of options and typically took the arrogant one

They could saved the salary cap space knowing they were going to up for 1m plus to keep him

Instead they believed the squad was a top 4 contender and that adding an extra 'gun' player would make them a premiership threat therefore being able to keep Danger due to premiership chances on a slightly cheaper wage because of that.

Obviously Betts has done well but there is no way in hell they were ever going to be close to being a genuine premiership threat.

The thing is it seemed towards the end of Franklins last season with tbe hawks they were preparing for him leaving. That last season certainly wasn't his best but since then the hawks have won 2 flags and have a tonne of cap space for chasing players.
Read my reply. It is directed at you because you have double standards
