I had that feeling last Saturday about 2pm.
They'll get what they deserve but I know the 22 that line up will leave nothing out there tomorrow.

Have there been any permits requested for this weekend?
Can a player who played the last week in an A grade team play B grade this weekend?

If both teams are still in, yes they can.

I'm backing in Para Hills for the win tomorrow... think also they need to win - there was a fair bit of talk around Bamford's reappointment over the summer and whether or not it was the right decision, if they fail to reach a GF this year it would surely be viewed as another failed season..

...and the raid on their top end players would begin.. ;)

So a player who played A's for CLG last week can now play B's this week even tho the A grade has the week off? If so that seems totally wrong!!!

I reckon its ok if he has played more Bgrade than Agrade games.

Nah, if he played last week Im not sure he can.

I'm sure the league will pick up very quickly if he's not supposed to be playing.

You have to name your A grade to the league as if they were playing this week....even though they won't be playing as part of your permit application I think.

Obviously if someone missed the 2nd Semi with injury and are a chance for the GF you name them in the A's this week so you can get your 23rd man to play in the 2's. If they get knocked out and your doubtful doesn't get up the 23rd man that played last week can play in the 1's.

I think that is how it works.....

Not if the A-grade have the bye. You'd require a permit for any A-Grader that played last week.

Well played Para Hills, too good for four quarters today.
Good luck to the 4 teams playing GF's in div 5 next weekend.
So long 2015, we now look forward to 2016.
Club footy, there is nothing like it.

CLG must be excited both the A's and B's in the gf. The big fella no 24 today in the B's was a class above and surely they go in as the favourites in both gage next week. Para Hills had another great win today but can't see how they can turn around the result around from last weekend.

What's everyone's thoughts on the upcoming GFs for Div5?

I had a crack at someone else in another forum for exactly this. Why the f@ck would you bag the leagues umpires when you have won the game and in this case made a GF and earned promotion. That's bad Karma going into a GF and comes across as pretty poor form for mine.

I dare say the team that doesn't worry about the umpires and worries about what they can control will win.
