Next round
Port $1.25
Freo $4

Will Freo rest players like last time or did that throw them off their game?

There is talk that freo will be contacting the AFL to advise that they will be sending a B team to adelaide. Not sure if its legit or not.

It's happening. Ross Lyon said it in the press conference after the game. Fair enough, have earned the right to do it.

So how does Melbourne and Dean Bailey get penalised for tanking again?

I don't think Freo are "tanking" for draft picks/concessions...

They got penalised for something that the AFL said didn't exist LOL.

deliberately losing to get a better draft pick is also very different to resting a whole bunch of players for the finals when you have top spot locked up.

Fremantle clear on top so do as they please but they've done the right thing as a matter of courtesy and they have asked the AFL where they stand.

Either way, 6-8 older Dockers won't travel, even if they get some "general soreness". They have the right to do as they like in this last round, they've earned the right to manage their playing group.

Port may as well open the gates to the public otherwise could be a very low crowd

Close. The club is offering members "Bring a mate" for $25 a seat. If we get over 30,000, will have done well I think.

Thats the major issue in what Freo are doing IMO. Do it at home if you want, but it is ultimately going to affect the home teams gate.

Good luck to the Dockers

they finished top and are preparing the best way they believe to win a flag.

However the AFL is a joke with the Integrity bollocks they preach

You reckon? They're playing good footy and it's the last chance their fans will get to see them this year.

Against Freo who traditionally get low crowds interstate, bringing a B side. That's the concern.

45,000, could've avoided local finals though.

I think Freo draw smaller crowds because they were poop for so long, they did get the worst concessions for any newly formed club though.

That, and the fact that they wear purple.
